Laidatxu - Bilbao

This little gem is across the plaza from the entrance to the Funicular de Artxanda and is a great place for you to relax in after your funicular ride. Great pintxos and lovely wine txikiteo offers and beers. Good friendly service.

A very enjoyable lunch of wine and pintxos. Recommended and I would return. Yes, it is small (14 seats inside) and definitely a dive, but the service is excellent and the food is good. One great aspect for worrywart tourists is that all the prices are posted. No surprises here. We had a Mayor de Mendoza Albariño which was tart and refreshing on a hot day. Six pintxos filled us up. Outdoor seating for 12. Excellent service. The bartender gave me advice (which I took) on how to get the best value for my money. €18.90 for 1 bottle of wine and 6 pintxos.

We liked the fact that there was a full price list outside and a good choice as well. The service was excellent and the food good, but not spectacular. Simple and straightforward.

Nos hemos pedido un desayuno con café bollería bocadillo. El café está muy bueno, hay bastante variedad de leches. El cruasán está rico. El inconveniente que hemos encontrado es que el pan estaba bastante duro.

Un bar pequeño y tranquilo. Los desayunos están muy bien de precio calidad con distintas opciones. 2,90€ café con tortilla y 4,50€ con zumo muy rico y natural por cierto). Amplia carta de cervezas artesanaa e IPAS.
