Bilbao Berria Ledesma

We had a delicious lunch here. Staff were so kind and helpful. To start wam anchovies with garlic and a vinaigrette for the table. Our friends had the duck and a rice dish we shared turbot. Then cheese cake for desert. We were offered a cava each at the end of the meal. Everything was perfect as were the surroundings. I would advise to book ahead for the restaurant. There is also a very good Tapas bar.

We’ve had tapas in; Ibiza, Malaga, Ronda, Granada and several places in Barcelona. Bilbao Berria has, by far, the best selection, taste and price we’ve seen. Tapas run 1.75 2.95 EU each which is quite reasonable. You owe yourself a taste treat with their mushroom filled Cannelloni… sheer bliss and shareable. The tomato and cheese salad will knock your socks off. Bilbao Berria is on the same plaza as the Barcelona Cathedral. BE CAUTIOUS Pickpockets and thieves are everywhere and everyone in Barcelona is warning all visitors to be extremely careful. Forewarned is forearmed.

As we were unable to get a tapas table for 5, we eat (without a reservation) in the main restaurant. It is a pretty space with good air con and friendly service. Our mix of fish, meat and vegetable dishes were all very good

A good experience to bite or eat in a bilbao environment. is not cheap

High level restaurant and very good quality where the details are taken care of. Although all the food is exquisite, the cheesecake has no rival.
