Riverside Cafe At Jordans Mill

I decided to explore the Jubilee Trail while taking a break from the weather. It turned out to be a nice experience, and the younger ones seemed to enjoy it as well. It was unfortunate that the mill was closed, as I would have loved to visit it. I traveled quite a distance for what felt like a limited experience, but I made the most of my time!

This restaurant is definitely worth a visit! The café offers a wide variety of dining options, including breakfast served until 11 AM. They also provide take-away drinks and have plenty of seating available. The mill is open for tours on Thursdays and Fridays, and the gardens are lovely, featuring flowers, crumbles, and plays by Weizen used in the delicious breakfast served at Jordans. Additionally, the shop offers a great selection of local gifts, products, plants, and various types of chalk, including Jordans and other brands perfect for your travels. Don't miss the fun 70th-anniversary trail for the whole family. While visiting, I even spotted an egret along the picturesque bridge by the River Ivel. There are two free parking spaces available at the mill as well!

This is a beautiful place to explore the history of the mill and its processes. It offers a wide selection of beautiful Jordan's chalk at discounted prices. It's definitely worth a visit!

A great breakfast, good quality food and the grounds and gardens were great. Lovely little gift shop and the garden walk is fantastic.
