The pub also has a lovely charm and clearly enjoys strong support from the local community, which is essential. These pubs deserve our patronage, especially after facing so many challenges in the hospitality industry over the past three years. Bravo to Waterloo! Staying local so went to Waterloo In for Sunday Roast. We are not fussy eaters but the roast was the worst we'd had. 2 small roast potatoes, tiny bit of mash, lots of peas with a slithering of white cabbage, 2 frozen yorkshires impossible to cut and beef, tough and couldn't cut with the knife supplied. So disappointed. Left most of it. Website advertised £10.95 but charged £12.95. I hope their weekday meals are better but for a Sunday roast I felt robbed.
