After reading the reviews of disappointed diners, my advice is clear about their expectations as they sit. works for me!
Our ski group had dinner in the kettle valley steakhouse during our visit in big white. to dinner went the majority of the group for the main rib, while a couple shared the tomahawk steak and another went for the filet mignon with scallops. like. a restaurant turns the best rib, I will never know, but they have it safe. we have asked for medium-sized rareness, but we have all ended with rare. it wasn't good in your mouth to melt, but very chewing, there was your kiefern a training. the yorkshire puddings were just as bad. my buddy who ordered the filet mignon with scalopps said that the steak was okay, but when they flashed they missed the scallops. his bowl came with 3 scallops each size of her daumennagel. the only good eating were the young who shared the Tomahawk steak. would they expect more from a steakhouse on a cafeteria?
This place needs an overhaul. shed, too bright and eat not good value. yorkshire pudding was hard like a rock and don't really eat fresh. all experience just tired.
We had dinner here for holy evening. it began strange how the restaurant is located in the upper floor of a cafeteria. hmmm. no bathroom in the restaurant as they are at the bottom of the cafeteria. the waitress gave us very little attention. we were made of water and drink most of the night. the dinner lasted much longer than we expected. the restaurant was not even quite close, but I guess the kitchen was overwhelmed preparation take Christmas dinner. we have the short end of the rod for this situation. Brad was brought to the table. that was long gone and we waited and waited. no statement from the waitress or offer to bring something else. I actually wondered if she had gone at one point. 2 hours after sitting, our food came. it was good, but nothing to write home. we originally had a reservation there 2 nights to follow eating, but after that we were not back. I will try them again on a future trip. very too expensive and lack of gloss.
We had a family dinner to close off our Christmas holiday on the 27th They did not know how to make french onion soup it was just boiled onions and a bun with cheese melted on it, we sent it back They did not know...how to cook prime rib or steaks We asked for medium prime rib and it can medium rare but cold and tough maybe from the day before One steak was over cooked after ordered medium rare it was extremely well done 4 of our 6 dinners were bad Great waiter but they really need to find someone who can cook How very disappointing
