Golden Chick - Big Spring

FIRST TIME GETTING FOOD HERE, and they gave me only 3 tenders when I paid for a 4 piece.

Sunday, August 22,2023,6:30 pm I visited Golden Chick for my first time. I ignored the poor reviews and gave them a shot.I ordered 12 peice fried with mash and gravy macaroni a d cheese with 4 rolls. Total Cost $48.70 which is a bit pricey compared to other chains.. I drove 15 minutes back home to find there was no gravy for the mash and no rolls. I called and asked to speak to the manager, and the person that answered the phone said they were the manager on duty.. I kindly explained the issues I had and that this was my first time trying Golden Chick, and I was disappointed that this happened. The manager asked if I was coming back, and I replied no. I'm not coming back tonight. I'm expecting to hear I'll take your name and make it up to you on your next visit. I hear again how can I help you. I said I guess you can't help me. I'll just leave a bad review like everyone else has. The manager now asked me why did you call if there is nothing I could help you with? I said because you need to know! The manager hung up the phone. The chicken and Mac were delicious. If I have an opportunity to try a different location, I will. I assure you I will not be back to this location.

Doors locked at 8:45? The girl snickered to the cashier as I walked away. OK so I'll go to the drive-through....there out of tenders. Kids just don't want to work today.

Good chicken , excellent Cole slaw, just a bit pricey, but if u want good fried chicken and oh yeah awesome rolls itz worth it

First time here and pleasantly surprised. Much tastier than Cane's. They did run out of mashed potatoes, but their Mac and cheese was spot on, as was the coleslaw. Will definitely be back. Customer service was polite and looks like a nice, clean place.
