Cuba Coffee - BIG PINE KEY

Came in for the coffee. Friendly service, nice and clean seating area. The coffee con leche was a bit too sweet for me, but otherwise, a nice spot to get your morning brew.

Their iced cafe con leche is great! And you can't go wrong getting one of their pastelitos. I really wish they would switch to paper recyclable cups instead of styrofoam. The keys are so beautiful and so many of the restaurants haven't made the leap to be more eco friendly. It's shocking coming from the mainland where many restaurants have gotten the memo that their consumers care about protecting the environment and sustainability. The keys is one of the most vulnerable places and I wish more businesses would switch.

We stopped here for some lattes on the way to Key West. It was fine except the cashier was not too pleasant. I was disappointed that they were serving hot espresso out of styrofoam cups, so we just got the iced coffee. We didn't order any food. Will try some other place if we need coffee again.

Great spot for cafe con leche and cuban pastries. Quick service and a cute spot for breakfast. Highly recommended coffee spot in Big Pine.

The bf and I stopped by here for late breakfast and their coffee and Cuban sandwich was outstanding! The coffee con leche was made with strong Cuban coffee. I like that each order of coffee is made fresh per order so the coffee is not just sitting there. I originally asked for no sugar with my coffee but I added two packets to a medium as it was a bit bitter for me. The Cuban sandwich was definitely the STAR of this establishment. The sandwich is filled with roast pork, ham, melty cheese, some pickles and yellow mustard then toasted to perfection under a panini press. The roast pork is juicy, tender and with nice flavor. The sandwich came with these little chips that look like tiny fries. The sandwich was big and filling enough for two to share.
