Paoli's Italian Country Kitchen

I will definitely not be returning! Our waitress was really unprofessional; she walked away before we could finish our order. She also forgot to place part of our friend's order and didn’t inform them that their appetizer and their son's soup were missing. When we received the bill, those items were simply crossed out! I ordered the Chicken Marsala, but the chicken was overly fatty, and I could barely take a few bites. The penne was disappointing, and I had to add a lot of cheese just to make it somewhat edible. The only positive note is that the pizza was decent, and my picky 3-year-old really enjoyed his Alfredo dish. I dined there on a busy Friday winter night, so perhaps service could be better during the week, but we won’t be returning to find out! Fortunately, there are many other restaurants in the Village to explore. We love visiting Big Bear, and I will definitely check reviews before trying another place.

The food was excellent, but the plastic tablecloths really need to be replaced. We had to use at least five baby wipes to clean the tablecloth ourselves, and no one came by to ask if we needed help with that.

It's frustrating to see the owners of Paoli's consistently profit from the local community and tourists without demonstrating any interest in providing a better atmosphere or representing the city in a positive light. It feels akin to a leech that drains its host without regard for its wellbeing. For all these reasons, it seems like common sense for Paoli's to make improvements. Businesses like this should take pride in their establishment and strive for better conditions. If changes are not made, customers may feel compelled to voice their concerns and consider boycotting.

I took my family there last weekend and sat on the patio. The tables are so dirty it took 8 baby wipes to try and clean it. We were also seated by the trash. The gate and arch is falling down. I don't know how this gets a passing grade. It is a shame. We love the food. With the price that is charged you think you could at least buy some new tables and table cloths. We have been coming to Paoli’s for 25 years. We come to big bear once a month, but I will no longer bring anyone or come until there is a large clean up.

Bad service, cold food, prices are OK. We waited for 1 hour and 30 min to be seated, and then 45 min for the food to be served. The manager screamed at us for complaining!
