The fish and chips were excellent! I would have given a perfect score, but I had some trouble with the payment method since I couldn't figure out the bank transfer. I ended up having to find an ATM instead.

The staff are friendly, and the chips are of good quality. The large cod is impressive, almost resembling a whale in size. However, I was disappointed to find out that they no longer make their fantastic homemade fish cakes, which were a delightful combination of fish and mashed potatoes.

I visited this restaurant this evening, as we usually only enjoy fish and chips while on holiday. I was impressed by the portion size, and I appreciated being able to swap my cup of tea for a diet drink as part of the daily deal. I deducted one star because there were just too many mushy peas on the plate, and I'm not a fan of peas. However, the piece of fish was perfectly cooked, stretching the full length of the plate, and it was quite tasty. I was surprised to find that this restaurant ranks only 77 out of 110 in the area; I would definitely place it much higher on the list.
