Que Huong - Biddeford

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant today. I noticed on their website that seating is limited, so I called ahead to check if they could accommodate a table for five at a specific time. When we arrived, a table was already set up for us, complete with five glasses of ice water. I was really thankful and impressed by the excellent service! The menu features a great selection of both Vietnamese and Thai dishes. I particularly enjoyed the Vietnamese iced coffee and the drunken noodle dish. Thank you so much, Que Huong Restaurant!

The staff was wonderful, and the location is excellent. However, I found the food to be less flavorful than I anticipated. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't particularly impressive either—just average. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4.

Ideal spot for a cozy evening. It's a small restaurant with around 5-6 tables for dining in. We ordered takeout for two, which included spring rolls and a salad, totaling $50. The flavors were fantastic, and the vegetables were perfectly cooked! I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to trying more of their dishes. As for vegetarian options, the spring rolls contain chicken, but they might accommodate special requests. The sharing salad also includes chicken. Service was for takeout.

Unfortunately, the spring rolls were disappointing. They lacked distinct flavors—bland, really—with way too much lettuce and not enough vermicelli. The beef skewer was the biggest letdown. Although the seasoning was quite flavorful, the steak was tough and chewy, which surprised us since we’ve never encountered that in a Vietnamese restaurant before. Additionally, the dipping sauces intended to complement the dishes were also lacking. The sauce for the spring rolls was satisfactory but nothing special, and the sauce for the beef skewer wasn't even homemade—it was a rather uninspiring bottled peanut sauce. I suppose I’ve been spoiled by some fantastic Vietnamese restaurants (like Mi Quang in Philadelphia), which is why this meal just didn't meet my expectations.

Very reasonable prices, but the good was just ok, not special. I think it’s the quality of ingredients, but the people couldn’t be nicer.
