Super Pub - Bhātpāra

This is a live band bar alcohol is expensive but the service is good, all staff are friendly

Easy to find as there's a few other businesses here that have Super in their name. Look for an unasumming single brown door, push it and you're in. It's dark and dingy but it has AC and cold beer with Bollywood movies playing on the TV. The toilets are really clean but we were here mid afternoon so I can't vouch for what they're like into the evening. Service is good enough from unsmiling waiters but they open and pour your beer at the table and will bring you some bar snacks.

If you're searching for a place to have a drink with your buddy or by yourself, this is a place to check out. This place is an unremarkable and mediocre pub that will satisfy your parch throat. The seating is good, the lighting has improved and is decent currently, and the service is well, average. On weekdays it's mostly empty, and on weekends I have no idea. The food is mediocre, the quantity is very less, and the prices are high, like all pubs. The alcohol prices are similar to all the pubs of similar standing. The place does not have a good acoustic, and feels like a dungeon, which is ideal for a pub. It's adorned with a TV which keeps on blasting cheap thrills and dance numbers throughout, which might cater to those who enjoy them. Overall, I will say that if you're someone looking for a pub, this is a pub. Go in and have a drink. If you have some company you enjoy, the place won't matter after all. If you don't have any company, a few pints in, nothing will matter. Kudos.

Tourists visiting the place are actually told they can't be entertained and allowed in the section with the live music if they are wearing cargo shots and tees instead of full pants. The place is still stuck in the enslaved colonial era. Walked out laughing at the jokers.

Super Pub is one of my favorite spots to visit! They have a live band playing from 7pm to 11pm, and when I say live band, I mean a band that truly knows how to rock out. You have to experience it for yourself to understand what I mean! The restaurant has two separate seating areas, and the food is outstanding, especially the finger foods. I highly recommend trying their Dragon Chicken and Chilli Fish Dry dishes. The service is quick, and while the ambiance may be a bit dim, it adds to the overall atmosphere of the place. Fun fact: you can smoke inside this non-smoking pub. Tucked away in the midst of the lower-end hotels on Sudder Street, Super Pub is easily accessible via the subway or Park Street.
