Rogpa Shop and Cafe - Bhagsu

I absolutely adore the products at Rogpa Shop Cafe, especially their bags. They have a variety of creative and beautiful items that make perfect souvenirs. The cafe is run by a non-profit community that provides opportunities for unemployed Tibetans, local entrepreneurs, and artists. I am more than happy to spend a little extra to support their cause and purchase their products. In addition to their unique items, Rogpa also offers hand-ground coffees and homemade desserts for those looking to simply enjoy a good cup of coffee.

Rogpa Shop and Cafe is located in McLeod Ganj, just above Yong Ling School and next to Mountain View Hotel on Jogiwara road.

Rogpa is a Tibetan charitable trust, with a particular focus on children. Part of their presence in McLeodGanj is a small cafe and shop which helps to support the activities they do with the local community.The cafe is tiny, literally 3 or 4 seats around a front counter, although we've visited a few times and never had any trouble getting a seat. The cafe serves a small selection of hot and cold drinks, with a few freshly made snacks - all of which are delicious. The banana flapjack is particularly good and the hand filtered coffee is the best coffee you will get in McLeodGanj.The attached shops has some lovely items - especially gift ideas for taking home. Brilliant place well worth searching out (locals should be able to help with directions).Thoroughly recommended

This is quite a calm place, with their few fresh coffee and tea options and baked goods, and a good selection of handicraft, homemade products along with some T shirts. We didn't try the food but it looked nice, but did buy a few souvenirs and goodies.
