Black Tent Cafe - Bhagsu

There's a home like feel to this cafe. The owner herself takes the order, cooks and serves the food. Also she has the most sweet Tibetan accent that I have heard in the whole McLeod. You can read books till the food gets ready.

This is our absolute favourite restaurant in Dharamsaala. Extremely tasty, everything fresh. No kidding. This is the place to go. Tibetan specialities are great. Fried chicken is great. Everything is great. We really loved the French Fries. We never had better French Fries in our lives. All of us were happy. My wife, And our two Teenager-children. It is a Mom and Pop-Restaurant. Pop in the kitchen. Mom is serving. Great and friendly people. Go there and be happy!

We had the chicken Thengthuk and chicken momos at Black Tent. Extremely satisfied! Spent an hour sitting and talking. The vibe of the place is very pleasant and the decor is vibrant as well. Must visit when in Mcleod!

Last Saturday afternoon, my daughter and I sought refuge from a heavy monsoon downpour at Black Tent Café. We were pleased to find affordable and delicious food and drinks, and the owners were welcoming and accommodating.

They’ve got pretty tasty momos here, we are especially found of the ones in soup! Nice owners and a cute, comfy place.
