TARTUFO - Bezirk Zuerich

I recently dined with my wife at il Tartufo. It was her first time and my 10th. I was so excited to share one of my favorite restaurants with her and I'm happy to report that our expectations were exceeded! We agreed that the buratta appetizer was the very best thing we ate on our 3 week gastronomical tour of some of Europe's best cities. The tagliarini with white truffles was sublime and the basil gelatto was surprisingly amazing. The restaurant has been nicely updated and feels fresh and modern. The menu too feels much more current and creative. A trip to Zurich would not be complete without a visit to il Tartufo.

I have never had a bad meal there. Staff is excellent. Food is good. There are some reasonably priced wines and good truffle ideas. Always a good choice!

The best restaurant in Zurich so far with original Italian cuisine and friendly atmosphere. High-quality ingredients, complex flavors in a sophisticated form. We will come back for sure.

We made an reservation of 20.00 and my wife got an asthma attack at 19.00 we have to go hospital , i have called the restaurant that we cant come because of my wife , the owner or the chef de service told me what a shame and started to attack me . These people are just for business and money there , forget to go there . If a person lost his humanity dont eat any food there will bring your life energy down .

A wonderful business dinner in a traditional setting. Generous servings with a large and delicious complimentary amuse bouche. Very interesting menu with an extensive wine list. Not cheap but reasonable for Zurich.
