Bye Bye Bar - Bezirk Zuerich

Rude male waitress, terrible service! There is not absolutely no sign that the tables in one corner belong to this “bar”. We sat with 6 people (a child). We have set ourselves to drink coffee and buy something in the “Bye bye...bar”. The male waiter came rude to us and told us to go because we had some starbucks on the table and we were not allowed to stay there even though I told him we would just buy something in this bar. He always says no. So I told him you just lost six customers. So please don't eat there. It is not family-friendly and absolutely rude and not worth the time.

Family of 7 (including my seriously pregnant woman, her son and older grandparents) sat in the sitting area outside the bar itself (which is not an indication, it belongs to the bar). A very rude member of the staff suddenly comes by to drink my wife... Starbuck's coffee and we demand to leave...did give us an option to buy from the bar. The same staff made the rounds to other people sitting in this area, with or without competitors and proved that they were moving if they had not bought from the bar. After reading the previous reviews, I am not surprised that this bar is basically empty.

This afternoon I sat down and waited for about five minutes until the waiter, who did not really seem interested in me, came to me and very rudely addressed: Orders only from the counter! No, please excuse me, sir... Order only from the counter! I stood up and told him, I'm leaving. His answer was: Go! I thought the customers were even more important today. Anyway, avoid this place: very bad service.

I arrived alone yesterday afternoon and ordered a coffee, the waiter told me to take a seat and he would bring it to me, he brought the coffee and the bill at the same time and asked if I would pay... I told him I'd order an extra coffee if it was done and I'd pay. I noticed that the waiter was about to be arrogant with other tourists, and I observed his use of the portable credit card machine, which it was able to calculate credit cards at various locations, etc. I ordered my second coffee and when I was finished, the waiter called the total price twice to me over the coffee shop, then he turned out I paid with the card and he told me I had to come where the machine was.... His portable machine as I observed his use for other customers. During this transaction, he had a short conversation with me and he suspected that I was from England because I spoke English with him as he showed that I was not English, he then told me that he wasn't like English because of the problems they caused in his native Bangladesh. If my nationality had been more obvious at the beginning of my encounter with this waiter, my experience would have been positive. This person does not deserve to work in the service industry with such an attitude, I visit Zurich every two months, but if I have time to kill in the future, I will avoid the Bye Bye Bar

After waiting for 10 minutes finally a waiter came and wanted to take my order. In the middle of taking my order the head waiter came and told her not to take orders of tables that are not assigned to her and made her leave,...without letting her take my order. The head waitress then left and it went another 8 minutes until finally someone came and took my order. It is astonishing how badly Bye Bye Bar is managed!
