The freshly squeed OJ (3.5 euro) was delicious and fun to wath the machine do...everything from slice the fruits to tossing the rind. They were busy prepping and watching them cut up potatoes for frites was entertaning as well.
There are few better places to get the feeling and sweating of a city that has the market hall and beziers a very good with all the usual suspects that sell all of fish to meat, whether sweet and brot to bake...but a few. as well there are few places to eat that create such a great mood as la gargote of the hall.good service, friendly and helpful, no frills, but a good and varied menu they will even cook foods that they bought from other marketplace providers. we had a great lunch with charcuterie, pate, cheese, pork, tielles and much more. they even gave us a bottle of champagne before we left what was a wonderful and appreciated gesture. much fun and good times made the more of helpful staff.
I had a little bit of lunch here. it can be very busy, but they should be pressed in after 1.30 or reserve a table. has many regular, we think rugby afficianados that you like to eat! we tend to share some small plates. a pate and an salate maybe.
It's Bastille Day, lots of places closed including the market but this place is happy to serve great food, cold beer, bottles of vin Blanc and anything else that goes. Frequented by lots of locals Sebastion and Frank doing a wonderful job in the Sevices....I'd be happy to return.
Super food and generous portions with the ability to have a full lunch or something lighter. Thierry the waiter was attentive and welcoming, and the food is cooked to order. We did not drink wine, but the locals (we were the only tourists) were....Prices were very reasonable! We will be going back again and soon.
