Wong's Kitchen - Bexley

I have been a patron of Wongs for more than 40 years, and they continue to serve the most delicious Chinese cuisine. Although the prices have become a bit high, I believe they should monitor this. The food is consistently tasty. Last night, we ordered takeout which was delivered promptly and hot. Yet another wonderful meal from Wongs!

This restaurant has made a terrible mess of orders including losing the food and delivering to the wrong address when you tried to contact them they will do everything to make sure you get the food for the moment you say that you’ve waited for nearly an hour for the food and you’re going to cancel they get very vicious and will basically slammed the phone down on you

I’ve lived in this area for 30yrs and was delighted when Wongs first opened and I have always been a fan of theirs. Their food is consistently delicious and they are generous with the portions and amount of meats etc. Wong’s was closed for a large part of this year so I used a different local Chinese takeaway which was really disappointing as the food was over salted and the chicken almost non existent. This really highlighted the quality of food Wongs offered. So I forfeited having any Chinese food until Wongs reopened and then my friend and I shared a Chinese banquet so despite all the lockdowns and restrictions, I’m glad at least Wongs is still open.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. I decided to get takeout from here and my order arrived in just 30 minutes. We ordered a variety of dishes including Singapore-style rice, which was well-seasoned and a new favorite of mine. The chicken gyoza had a delicious curry flavor, but I may try the vegetable gyoza next time. The duck spring rolls were large with a crispy pastry and moist ingredients inside, the best I've ever had. The chicken in black bean sauce was flavorful with plenty of vegetables and chicken in a good amount of sauce. Although the shredded chilli beef was not my favorite due to the sauce, the overall food quality was excellent. I ordered through Deliveroo and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived 20 minutes earlier than expected. The food was hot and portioned perfectly. This Chinese takeaway is truly the best I've ever had.

I have been living in Welling for over 7 years and have always enjoyed dining at this Chinese restaurant for its good quality and reasonably priced food. However, recently they have significantly increased their prices and the food quality has declined. Their excuse for the price hike was inflation, but I found the staff to be rude and the food to be subpar. I will not be ordering takeout from them again unless they improve their customer service and reconsider their inflated prices. I would recommend using services like Ubereats, as they offer better options even with delivery charges.
