Shahi Spice Indian Takeaway - Bexley

I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant and was extremely disappointed. The food had burnt black bits and even some hair in it, the poppadoms were stale, and all the dishes tasted like they had been reheated from old stock. I ended up throwing all the food away and wasting £26. I should have left them alone, as the shop felt cold and damp. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

We used to use this take away all the time. Haven't ordered from there for a couple of years now as became expensive. Ordered for the first time tonight. Still the same, reasonable quality, but expensive in comparison with the local area. Usually, if I spend £30 on a curry poppadum's and chutneys are thrown in as a freebee. Not here, they will charge for them. Food was reasonable but not worth the extra cost, better value take aways are out there.

Had our second lockdown delivery from Shahi and as usual food was excellent. I'm not a big hot curry or too spicy fan so go for the Chicken Tikka with Masala sauce on the side along with a section of sides, rice and bread. Ordered through their website it states a delivery time of 45 mins but on both occasions it's arrived much quicker. It's always been very hot and fresh and never lacks flavour. Contactless and safe delivery.

This is by far the best Indian around .. we have a delivery every Friday and I wouldn’t go anywhere else ever again, top quality dishes full of meat and flavour, cooked to my specification, delivered with a smile and always on time
