Delicio - Bexley

We can not recommend BEXLEYHEATH restaurant enough. 21st birthday for 22 adults and 9 children. Food and service outstanding . Nothing was too much trouble . All food hot , presentation amazing and food delicious. Even though a big party all food arrived at the same time . And enjoyed by all. A big Thankyou to everyone that was working!9n 22nd December . A credit to the restaurant!!!

The ELTHAM DELICIO MANAGER FEMALE) WAS RUDE AND OFFENSIVE INSTEAD OF APOLOGISING ABOUT 30 MINUTE DELAY AND OUR ORDER THROWN AWAY SAID YOU CAN NO LONGER COME IN HERE LACKS CUSTOMER SERVICE KNOWLEDGE NARCISSISTIC.

My husband and I ate at Delicio in Eltham yesterday lunchtime. Bit of a mixed review here... Ok, the staff were polite and friendly, the restaurant was ok, although I do prefer the layout and ambiance in the Bexleyheath restaurant. We ordered two glasses of water, a glass of wine, and a draft lager. The drinks came separately, both glasses of water came first, then the wine a couple of minutes later, then the lager, another two minutes later. I ordered the lamb shank, and my husband ordered the burger and fries. Again, everything was brought out separately. My meal was brought to us first. And I sat there looking at it for around seven to eight minutes whilst we were waiting for my husband's meal!! We found this totally unacceptable. It is still very bad manners for anyone to begin eating until everyone has their meals. Mine was starting to go cold by the time my husband's meal arrived! Both meals were absolutely delicious, good presentation, flavours, and portion sizes. Due to my husband's burger being just about the biggest burger I've ever seen, I finished my meal ahead of him. My husband was still eating when the waitress came to our table and cleared my plate, cutlery etc! Again, as nice as everyone was, this is totally unacceptable! In my humble opinion, I do believe that this is just a training issue. When dining out, it is expected that the drinks all arrive at once, the food arrives together, or as close as humanly possible, and the table is only cleared once everyone has finished eating. We had to ask for dessert, it wasn't offered verbally or with the offer of returning the menu to us. I would also like to make a final observation, that the toilet cubicle in this restaurant was ridiculously tiny, which probably can't be helped, but good grief, replace that toilet seat, it's broken, it's badly damaged, and a bit of cleaning in there wouldn't go a miss either! Regarding the service, I don't think this is a Delicio issue, just this particular one, we had no complaints about the Bexleyheath restaurant at all. We'll definitely be back in Bexleyheath, but probably not in Eltham.

Returned here for lunch with friends. Received a warm welcome and enjoyed some very good food. I had the seafood kebab ,the fish was perfectly cooked and it was a good size portion served with chips and salad,a very high standard.My friends had the chicken shish,we also enjoyed starters. The staff were friendly ,helpful and professional. A stand out restaurant in Bexleyheath where there are many eating places and will continue to return

This is my third time coming to Delicio but first time coming for the lunch menu. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad which was lovely and my friend had the chicken club sandwich. There wasn’t iced coffee on the menu but the waiting staff happily made one for me. I’d recommend this place to anyone!
