The Lakehouse - Bewdley

Very nice clean restaurant, The staff are friendly and the food so far has all been awesome. Hot food and nicely place on plates to make you say awe.

So I have given this restaurant two chances, both of the occasions I was not impressed with. On the first occasion I went out for breakfast and I ordered bacon eggs and toast. The bacon was fine, the toast was alright (butter needs to be spread better) BUT the eggs were disgusting, they were gross, slimy and undercooked. My second experience was THE WORST! I ordered a chicken quesadilla, my mother ordered chicken wings and my brother ordered a kids burger. To start off I knew something wasn't right with my quesadilla, the chicken was fatty and barely cooked, it tasted gross and had way to many spices. My moms chicken wings were fine but weren't fantastic! This is the absolute worst part of the whole experience, My brothers burger. He wasn't eating his burger so my mom was wondering why, I tried it and at first it tasted fine but then after a few chews, it tasted rancid. I handed it to my mom and she tasted it then afterward we realised it tasted like old, un fresh, disgusting, meat. When we made a complaint the waitress took the burger off the bill, but she didn't want to take the quesadilla off obviously not wanting to lose anymore money then she already had. So she kept insisting that it was the Cajun. So to say the least I am Never going back to the Lake house again and it is in your best interest that you don't either.

Great friendly place, go regularly for Friday fish and chip special $7.95. generous portions and good food.

Nothing special but it's all pretty good. Burgers, steaks, fish all well prepared and served with a smile. Service is great and small town friendly. Wine and beer but again nothing out of the ordinary. Great for family and groups.

When out for a 'cruise', we decided to have a bite to eat and were delighted to find The Lakehouse. People there were so friendly! And, the food was tasty! The whole place was warm and inviting. Washrooms were brightly lit (a bonus) and clean.
