Depot Diner - Beverly

Depot Diner is the spot to hit when you?re in Beverly. The breakfast here was delicious! Veggie omelette and Home fries were yummy! And the banana nut pancakes devine!!! Sooo good. They were freshly made and so filling! OMGoodness! Worth the tripwherever you?re coming from.

They absolutely went out of their way to seat 9 on a Saturday... at 11am. Waitress was kids and patient... food was exactly how we ordered it and HOT. Plus the coffee was really good. I know, right? Then 2 more kinda joined out table and they easily splitthe checks so each group could pay. I'm impressed with the food and I'm doubly impressed with the service and courtesy of themanager/staff.

The food was delicious, albeit long wait times for a table. Thankfully, they have an online wait list.

My husband and I came here because it 's across the street from the apartment we were staying in. Plus they have gluten free toast. But I suddenly had a craving for salad. I asked the waiter which was recommended. He said the gorgonzola salad or steaktip Greek salad. I opted for the Greek salad with creamy Greek dressing and steak cooked medium. It was huge and the steak wasso tender and flavorful. There was so much that I put aside the huge pita bread and two pieces of the steak for leftovers. Myhusband had the blueberry pancakes and he said it was really good without syrup too! I also ordered hot water with lemon andwhen I asked for more hot water I got a fresh new cup. One more thing I noticed the inside is decorated with train picturesand paintings hanging on bright yellow walls. Guess that 's the depot part of the name. Overall, the place is cute, the staffis friendly, and the food is yummy.

We used app to get in line for table. I would suggest calling instead. This is a popular place and there can be a wait at busy times. The host did not have our names. But, as we are regulars they found us a table. Impressive as there was a group of 30right after us. I had fresh fruit a BLT. We took a Boston cream pie to go. Overall a great experience...per usual.
