Thaleia Greek Taverna - Beverly Hills

We had a dinner with 7 friends. The service was good and the food was lovely. The meals were not small in fact large so no need to eat during the day .The restaurant is small so it was not too noisy to hear each other talk

I went to the Thaleia for the first time. It isn't a large restaurant which gives it a great atmosphere. The service was friendly, and the waiters were always present but not in your face. Live music was provided by a singer accompanied with keyboard and bouzouki. It was played at a relaxing and appropriate volume which still allowed conversation to take place.The meal I had was a mezze plate. It was excellent with a great variety of food items and extremely filling. As I sat there eating, I looked at all the meals coming out to other customers and thought how nice and tasty they looked. The menu was quite varied.Pros- great food, varied menu- food is served quite quickly- licensed and BYO wine ($2.50 corkage pp)- live music- meals are filling- friendly and attentive service- great ambienceCons- parking can be difficult at times in Beverly Hills. Parking is available along the street outside the restaurant after 7pm.- probably need to book. It can fill up.Will definitely go back there.

Have been to this local restaurant several times and each visit seems to be better than the last.The food is excellent and not excessive prices. We had 5 different dishes to share including the trio of dips. Everything was delicious and portions are good. The atmosphere appears to be very traditional with live music (not too loud) and customers often up dancing.It is very busy on the weekend and as one other reviewer noted parking can be problematic but worth the time.Will definitely be back!

We have a lovely dinner here months ago and I can say the food is delicious! Bit pricey but the quality is definitely good. Would love to go back again. Cons: It is situated in a busy King Georges road where parking can be a bit challenging.

We are locals so when we found this place we were so happy. We recommend you book though especially Fri and Sat nights. We have literally worked our way through the menu and we love everything! Portions are very generous and food is authentic. We like to order a few things to share. Prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly. This place has a great atmosphere too.
