The bill came to $50, which we felt was steep for what we received. My pasta was satisfactory, though I would have preferred fresh parmesan over pre-packaged cheese. The portion was small, more like an appetizer. My partner's soup was a decent size, but overall, we left feeling unsatisfied. I would like to give Sage two stars, but I appreciate their commitment to their mission and believe they have potential for improvement. Therefore, I have given them three stars in hopes that with more time and fine-tuning, they can offer a better dining experience that justifies their prices. I am rooting for their success.
The portions are small, the prices are high, and the burger was dry. The appetizer came out just before the main course. I don't plan on returning.
Sage is a great new addition to the dining options in Bethlehem. After a date night at the Colonial, we decided to stop in and try their food. Despite it only being open on Wednesdays for a few weeks, we enjoyed a delicious meal with dishes like chicken curry soup, bison burger, and the chicken special. The food was well-prepared and the family who owns the restaurant is very charming. I highly recommend giving Sage a try.
