Arlene, the owner and head chocolatier, is full of energy and always ready for a friendly conversation. She originally set up her shop just a block away but has since moved to a spot near the Apollo Grill, attracting a steady stream of customers for all the right reasons. Arlene has perfected the art of making delightful chocolates with unique flavors like cappuccino, inside-out peanut butter cup, fluffernutter, and my personal favorite—espresso. Although there are plenty of tempting options that I try to resist, the prices here are very reasonable compared to larger chocolate shops. If you’re looking to indulge, go for a hot chocolate and treat yourself without guilt. Personally, I’m a fan of the dark chocolate, but I’ve heard wonderful things about the milk chocolate too.
