Cafe - Bethlehem

We began our evening at the restaurant with a dry martini, served straight up—mine had a twist, while hers came with an olive. They were chilled perfectly and filled to the rim. Shortly after, a warm loaf of soft and flavorful bread was brought to our table, accompanied by real butter. Next, we shared an order of spring rolls, which was just the right quantity for us, as we tend to dine slowly. The house salad, dressed with peanut sauce, was delightful and packed with healthy ingredients. For our main course, we opted for the trout stuffed with lump crabmeat and artichokes, paired with hand-cut potatoes and a perfectly prepared vegetable medley. To finish, we shared a light and delicious dark chocolate cake. It’s been over thirty years since we first dined at the Café, and in comparison to other restaurants we've visited around the world, the Café truly ranks among the best. One final note: the service is always warm and friendly. Thank you for being there!

The Café offers delicious made-to-order food and incredible desserts! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The staff is attentive, and there's often live music. It's our favorite place to eat!

Finally gave this place a chance. I passed it for years, but had no idea what it was all about. I'll admit confusion, at first, as the menu was American and Thai..??? Strange. Once I started eating I did not mind at all. I tried to get reservations for the private dining area but I was told that they were too busy to do that. We went early and we left before they sat anyone at the smaller table in that room. That is my only complaint. From the freshest of fresh breads and the soft butter, through the appetizers (my husband loved his chicken satay, I loved my crab/avocado), passed the trout and crab with Hollandaise and his filet, and onto dessert, everything was wonderful. The ambiance was sweet and clean. (The air conditioner above my head bothered my husband, but not me), the waitresses friendly and the service was great. I will be back. A lot.

Wonderful dinner the goat cheese crustini was so good I almost didn't want to share. fantastic atmosphere. Special as always
