Not Your Average Joe's Bethesda

Server was not attentive, she had to crash down and she rarely looked after us. drinking were not well sweetened (sangria and old fashioned) crab cake arrived burned on the floor and kartoffels were over season; when I got a replacement, crabcakes and carrots undercooked. she gave us the bill without offer to take something off, so we paid and not plan, ever again.

I have appreciated their attention to the necessity of gluten-free foods! my gravy is a serious zöliakiekind and her eating can not be contaminated by gluten at all! They know of course how to serve properly, uncontaminated food! she had a fabulous meal!

Great food and fantastic service. we were constantly checked to make sure we had everything we needed.

Our server did not take any notes while we had ordered us so that additional condiments had to be requested again. we waited one because for the initial water, and the brot was served near the end of the meal. the most disturbing at a beautiful 60-degree day, it was cold in the restaurant to free.

We went for New Year’s Eve, and I think not your average Joe’s may be in the top three of our favorite local restaurants. Our servicer Norah was wonderful with her suggestions and service. Their gluten-free bread and carrot cake were the best I’ve ever had. Our entrées were delicious an we loved our high top booth seating as well.
