It took an unusually long time for them to replace the steaks, and when they finally did, mine was completely rare—undercooked and red inside. I hate to bother the staff when they’re busy, but I simply couldn’t eat it, so I had to ask for it to be cooked longer. When it finally came back, it did have a nice crust, but the taste was a bit burnt, and they forgot my sauce, which meant another wait. When the sauce finally arrived, the melted butter had solidified, making it less enjoyable. While they did remove the dish from our bill, I couldn’t enjoy my meal at all. We ended up staying for over two hours, and I waited more than an hour to eat, by which time my appetite was completely gone. Neither the chef nor the manager came by to offer an apology, which is quite disappointing for a French restaurant that should know how to properly cook a steak, especially a Filet Mignon. It was clear they didn’t care about their cuisine or take pride in their food. That night reflected a lack of professionalism, so I probably won’t be returning anytime soon.

The service at this restaurant was very disappointing. I dined in for lunch and spent between $30 to $50 per person. While the food was quite good, earning a rating of 4 out of 5, the service was lacking, receiving only a 1. The atmosphere, however, was enjoyable, also rated at 4. Overall, the poor service overshadowed an otherwise pleasant dining experience.

I have to say, I’ve never left a restaurant feeling as frustrated as I did after dining here. It was clear that the waitstaff were more interested in going home than attending to their customers. I completely agree with another reviewer who noted the indifference of the staff; my dining partner and I were made to feel like we were inconveniencing them. The food, however, was exceptional with incredible flavors. But by the time we were ready to order dessert, I had felt patronized enough. I settled the bill, left no tip, and walked away knowing there are plenty of other restaurants that are more deserving of the $200 I spent here. Be careful, Mon Ami Gabi; while not all of your staff are problematic, some could really hurt your reputation.
