Fish Taco - Bethesda

Fresh, delicious, and healthy! The fish salad was fabulous. The chicken was surprisingly good—juicy and high-quality, not dry or low-grade. The chorizo was flavorful, though it wasn't as spicy as I had anticipated. The frozen margaritas were just right!

Sometimes, there can be notable differences between locations in a restaurant chain. As a regular visitor and fan of their other branch in Potomac, I was eager to try this one and I was pleasantly surprised. Nestled in the vibrant shopping district of Bethesda, this fast-casual eatery offers a delicious and affordable dining experience, perfect for a break while shopping or during lunch. The restaurant features an outdoor seating area that evokes the charm of a cafe in Paris. Although it was raining during my visit, we managed to secure a table by the window and still appreciated the ambiance, which was enhanced by the interesting ceiling design. While the food might seem secondary to the overall experience, it was still quite tasty and contributed to making a wonderful day even better. I had the blackened fish taco platter, and my partner thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well.

Fast food type restaurant. Kind of reminded me of a Chipotles. Despite the name of the restaurant has other proteins besides fish. I did try their signature fish and felt it was a bit too fishy smelling and lacking flavor. Other ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Chips and salsa was also fresh and tasty. It’s a very busy place. The staff was a little aggressive in trying to keep the place clean by trying to take plates a bit too soon but could also be seen as a positive compared to the alternative. Service was fast and friendly.

Tacos and quesadilla is alright, would be better if not for excess corn and lack of sauces. Ambiance is good and food arrived quickly. Right by our seats, there were many ants crawling.

Going to Fish Taco for lunch was a huge mistake. I went and ordered the Ancho Shrimp bowl, now I can never go back to Moes or Chipotle again! The ingredients were so fresh and just went together perfectly. I dream about the next time I get to eat one of these bowls!
