Chaparro's Family - Bethel

Is this a high-end restaurant? Not at all. Is it a pretentious fusion spot? Definitely not. Instead, it offers fantastic, authentic Central and South American cuisine. The daily specials are superb, and their specialties, like the made-to-order Tacos Pupusas, are not to be missed. Be sure to also sample the seafood soup.

5 stars ALL THE WAY. I have tried at LEAST 75% of the menu and so far only disliked one item, which was the beef soup, which I've had 2 times. I did not find it to have flavor and did not like the broth BUT everything else I tried was absolutely delicious. 10/10! The picture I provided is of the Churrasco Guatemalteco/Guatemalan steak. Everything about this dish is amazing.. There's even crema and a little cheese wedge in there!! I like to eat a bit of everything in one bite and you can't forget the green sauce!! That stuff is made out of pure magic. Chaparros is probably my favorite place to order from in Danbury and I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Thank you to the chef who clearly puts in enough hard work to make me write this super long review haha we love you!!!!

We finally had the opportunity to eat at this restaurant yesterday, and all the dishes we tried were outstanding. The service was quick and friendly, too. My only criticism is that the restaurant could use some updates. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch and will definitely return to sample more dishes.

I ordered from door dash just wanting something different!!! Most Delicious!!!! Cooked perfectly and the tastes on that plate were to perfection!!! Very happy and want to stop in soon and try more and check out the atmosphere!! Keep it going!

The food is fantastic, the portions are generous, and the staff is wonderful. You should definitely visit this place and leave feeling satisfied!
