Nudy's Cafe Swedesford - Berwyn

Beautiful sitting in front of the restaurant. beautiful stone and flower garden. great location for an early breakfast before returning to the lively city. the waitress was beautiful and sweet. the menu was great. the wad and the apple pancakes. will definitely recommend and return.

My man and I ordered the takeout from here and we were extremely disappointed by the bad food and lack of quality and attention to service. I've made 3 blueberry pancakes with 2 pieces. what was missing from my order were the vultures, but the lady above the phone said she didn't hear me say. she was very slow at ordering and did not read it to check the order. I have worked with my elder breakfast diner and I have always read the job to make sure it was what they wanted. when my man took it up and brought back to our hotel, I was very confused when I didn't see the egg and only 2 dried sausages on the side. the pancakes melted badly and were dry. they jumped on the blueberries. they gave me only a syrup pack for 3 big pancakes. only very bad attention to details. also, my man got the breakfast sandwich and he said it wasn't good at all and it was hard. it is so sad that we spent all this money and the time for bad food and service. I called and talked to the manager about it. I wish they had just refunded us or offered us something else to do so. this is our first day of our slumber weeks and we were really hungry for a good breakfast near our hotel. I saw that this place had good reviews, but our experience was nowhere near to satisfy.

Our dining experience was quite disappointing, especially the brunchburger. It looked appetizing in the photo, but lacked flavor. The meat was dry, the buns seemed stale, and they were served cold. Who doesn't toast or warm up their buns? We ordered two for the table and neither of us were satisfied. As for the drinks, their menu advertised free refills, but we were charged for a cold beer. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding, as everything seemed to be listed on the menu.

I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. There were many young people working there, which I always appreciate as it shows they are being given opportunities. The food was delicious and served quickly and hot. We had a pleasant breakfast. Our server was friendly, dedicated, quirky, and funny, making our dining experience enjoyable. The restaurant was clean and well-lit. However, the front of house staff seemed distracted and not very welcoming or friendly. The manager and host seemed to ignore us when we entered and paid our bill, which made the experience a bit awkward.

Loved that Nudy's offered Gluten Free options. The Gluten Free Blueberry Pancakes are absolutely delicious. My husband son loved the French Toast, bacon sausage. Even the orange juice is delicious!!The atmosphere is warm, staff friendly and decor is really cute. So glad I found this place while traveling to Philly. I look forward to visiting again when back in town.
