Mayo's Family - Berwick

The food is decent but not outstanding. I once had a burger that lacked flavor. The breakfast options are acceptable, though the corned beef hash seems to come from a can. The lunch wraps are enjoyable, the service is consistently good, and the restaurant is clean.

I noticed crepes on the specials and couldn't resist! Unfortunately, they turned out to be as thick as pancakes and completely absorbed all the flavor from the sausage. I ended up removing them. They were so dense that they could have stuck to a wall for days if I'd thrown one! Yuck! My friend ordered eggs Benedict and complained that the hollandaise sauce was too thick, overpowering the eggs. On a positive note, the coffee was delicious, the home fries were cooked to perfection, and our waitress was lovely! I just wish the food had been better.

Great breakfast fare at a reasonable price in town. We will be frequenting this place!

I visited for the first time today and I can't wait to go back! The people were wonderful and the service was outstanding.
