The Tea Cart - Berryville

I picked up a Gluten Free Royal Ascot tea on my way through Berryville this afternoon. Brought it home for my husband and I to enjoy. It was beautifully presented, and every item was delicious. Both of our teas were unique and delicious as well. And did I mention Gluten Free!!! A rare treat. Thank you Chef and Tea Cart!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free!!

Came here for mother/daughter Christmas tea. It was Nutcracker themed. We had a preset menu and they kept bringing out the courses to the whole dining room one table at a time. Food was great, very friendly service. There was plenty of time between courses so it didn’t feel rushed. We enjoyed the slow and relaxed speed. The interior felt very British country eclectic mixture of fine china and silverware, lacy tablecloths, antique furniture and various knick knacks and hats. Really good tea. You can also purchase their loose tea mixes. All in all recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic British tea experience.

Lovely service and a great experience. For two people, this was pretty filling too. So come hungry and ready to drink tea.

Went here today for a friend's birthday. Firstly we had reservations at 2:00 and we were a bit late. Entered at 2:08 pm. We were promptly seated. The plates on the table we were sat on were all dirty with food crumbs and spilled tea. Then we wait about 10 mins for our waitress to come out to our table and get our tea orders and give us fresh plates. After that we got the Duchess Tea however they thought we have the Royal. But that was quickly resolved and then we wait nearly 30-40 mins to get our tiered tray for sandwiches and sweets out to us. The sandwiches were ok, nothing great at all. The pimento spread tasted nice. The sweets and scone afterwards were a big disappointment. I had the chocolate almond tea and earl grey, both of those were nice. After finished our meal, it took almost 15 more mins to get the check and then have her take our credit cards. I'm giving this 2 stars because -1 star for poor and slow service, -0.5 for dirty plates and utensils, -1 for overpriced, and -1 mediocre food. Honestly more of a 2.5 than a 2 because the teas tasted nice and then experience of high tea is fun.

Delicious Afternoon Tea The Tea Cart is a charming venue and we really enjoyed the Harry Potter Tea. Tea was delicious and we enjoyed every last crumb of this menu. Service was slow, but food was worth the wait. The Harry Potter theme is very fun and overall a delightful place to spend the afternoon. Bring quarters for the parking meters. See photos to read menu.
