La Vela Gaststätte

Perhaps not what they would expect in such a small village as bernau am chiemsee, but if they are in the opposite, they will keep in la vela for authentic Italian eating. the pasta dishes are incredible!

We ran late in the evening through the streets of bernau am chimesee on the look for a restaurant to eat. very few people seem to know this restaurant and we found it by chance. we were surprised that the restaurant was quite full. the waiter spoke very little English, but we just managed to read the menu and select what we wanted. this restaurant is in the round an Italian restaurant and there was a huge list with pizza and pasta on the menu. I decided to make a salmonpizza and the rest decided to sort for different others. my wife had as always vegetarian eating the taste of eating was very good. the desserts were also very good. compared to similar foods that you get in italia, however, this is somewhat different. the cost of eating were very reasonable.

Excellent service, very kind and helpfull. Portions are big, good quality! The place itself isnt spectaculair but has a nice warm feeling to it. We will come back for sure
