Contribuiți la feedbackWe had dinner at the Tredicipercento Restaurant. It is located in an old and tiny cellar in the city center. There is one menu. The food we had was very good: Brussel sprout soup, pasta with ragu sauce and chicken with a vin jaune sauce. There is also a great wine selection. Prices are quite reasonable. Service was extremely friendly and efficient, although very slow. So go there if you are not in a hurry. Recommendable!
We visited on a Saturday evening, I recommend getting a reservation. The restaurant is part of a wine shop, so you know what you‘re in for. There is only one menu (but you can choose 3, 4 or 5 courses), which changes from time to time. We had an excellent meal and chose to have a wine accompaniment, which I wholly recommend! Such wonderful wines! So the food was great, the wine was great and the service was very nice as well. On the other hand, the wait times between the courses was sometimes on the longer side and the restaurant is relatively expensive. But overall, I really like this restaurant and would definitely recommend it. If you go, definitely order the wine accompaniment!
Very warm welcome, there is no standart menu: Daily fresh is the selection. You can choose the number of plates out of a small but delicious selection. Great ambiente, very clean, very typical modern cellar-restaurant. Very small, open kitchen: the cook presentetd us every plate
Tredicipercento is a wonderful, cozy gem in the “old town” part of Berne that was recommended to us by friends who live nearby. Tredicipercento is an enigma in many ways as this former coal bin is so very unassuming and authentic when you go in while the kitchen produces fabulous, special food in a sophisticated Italian style. Flavours are interesting, unique and very tasty. Tables are not packed together so the noise level is modest at most such that conversation is easy and the environment a particularly comfortable experience. It seems that the kitchen prepares one meal each evening with 5 courses. You can opt to skip courses (we had the three recommended by Kasper, along with the wine pairings, and we were not disappointed). Our table of three found the cuisine presented to be simply superb, prepared and presented with passion and perfection. Serve is unassuming but effective and most professional despite what might be considered a casual setting. All of this excellence comes with a price. Dining at Tredicipercento is not, even by Swiss standards, inexpensive. Our dinner for three, with three courses, no desert, four glasses of wine and two carafes of carbonated Berne tap water total nearly CHF300. In the end, on reflection and dealing with the sticker shock, we decided this was actually good value for money. There is no comparable experience to Tredicipercento in Berne or most anywhere else for that matter. Go prepared to pay at least CHF100 per person and enjoy what is truly and an extra ordinary culinary experience that I have no hesitation in recommending. Thank you Kasper and team.
