Metzgerstübli - Bern

Great food, excellent service. The outdoor tables they set up on the street in the evening cannot be booked, but if you show up early enough, you can grab a table and enjoy the ambience. It had completely filled up at 7 and some tables were empty at 7:30. You have actually put a table in yourself it outside for a group of 6! Absolutely the friendly service of any Swiss restaurant I've ever been.

Very good restaurant. Food was excellent but it is very pricey. Full as usual which is a good sign. Will definitely go back.

We stayed at dinner in this restaurant after reading reviews on tripadvisor. the place is really nice in the center especially in summer. sin for excessive prices.

If you are are looking for a place you feel like at home then this is the place. The food is top quality - you will realise from the first bite that every was delivered by the best farmers. It is a light and fresh French cuisine. They have good, fairly priced wine list. Well, and what is best, besides the amazing food it an absolutely great service by people who love to do their job. You better make a reservation because this place is really popular (but not touristy.)

Our first night in wrath, struck by the beauty of the city! We searched through tripadvisor a restaurant and the presentation and reviews of metzgerstuebli convinced us. Fortunately, there was another table between the many reserved tables. Very hearty reception in a nice mood! The card was limited but very special. What followed was a true taste sensation! Meat, we had chicken breast and pig's wan, with a very special, some eastern twist. Party! The Swiss pinot was very special and precisely good of temperature. The brambles and lime grass made the taste acquaintance with bern complete. Metzgerstuebli is a hit man!
