This is a fine sushi bar restaurant. ishin is a large group of fine restaurants in berlin. the service is extra usually polite and fast and good. must be a good management. the menus are good and have a nice selection. great place for...essen!
Here they can qualitatiw high quality sushi for fairly low prices, especially during the happy hour. it is not really chic, as it is in a small shopping center, but it was the first of all ishin restaurants (I think there are 5 of them in berlin.) the staff is quite friendly and they always get a cup of green tea as welcome greeting. I wish they had a greater variety of vegetarian sushi.
We really loved this chilled sushi bar. we visited the street in the charlottenstraße 16. the service was excellent, the eating and ambiente was perfect for a Saturday afternoon. you could see that many local people come for a quick sushi hit and know that. the menu inside out. our only disappointment was that we were not given smaller plates to eat. we ordered a selection of individual Maki/Nigiri/Sashimi etc. and while it was in order that it all came on a big teller as we had expected it was difficult to try to tip over soy sauce was not over the table. we have ordered twice (as we love eating), so the waitress will have seen that we use our fabrics as a teller! not great, but otherwise highly recommended.
The sushi is good and so is the variety. The prices- well there are lots of less expensive option to dine but if you insist on sushi. Sushi is expensive in Berlin. Real Japanese set next to me so it probably a good sign. However...like most Berlins restaurant- it is not human to serve food without air condition in August 2015. Berlin is so behind in this matter, completely not the German way to lead and I hear these excuses of it is only hot a few days in the year. Bla bla bla
