Contribuiți la feedbackWe visited here for our 5 year anniversary and I can honestly say the Food was excellent, the views are phenomenal and the service we received was great. YouTube vloggers say it’s a tourist trap but I think it’s such an amazing experience you should...do it. My advice book tickets well in advance.
Came here the other week with my partner for dinner. I have eaten in several high towers with great views in many different countries, but have never eaten in a revolving restaurant, so this certainly was a different experience. We had booked for a window...seat for the best view and at a time that we would be able to watch the sunset and on arrival we were swiftly seated. The service throughout the evening was polite, attentive and everything came at a reasonable pace (we were not rushed at any point, yet we did not have to wait too long for any of our food or drinks). The view was a lovely backdrop to the meal as we spanned the city first during light, then during sunset and dusk and finally at night with only lights twinkling! The photos we took did not really do it justice (difficult to get the light balance right). The meal itself was really good (having read recent reviews I was a bit worried, but our food was perfect). The menu is a bit limiting so not a great amount to choose from, but we were happy with what we selected. To start my partner had the potato and beef soup and I had the prawn salad with avocado dressing (a good sized bowl full of colours and flavours and juicy, plump prawns). For mains my partner had the fried veal liver which came topped with roasted onion crumbs and colourfully dressed with chopped leaks and vegetables, a cooked apple ring, mashed potato and vine cherry tomatoes, whilst I opted for the burger – a juicy, meaty burger with avocado, red onion, lettuce and tomato topped with melted cheese in a soft seeded bun and served with kettle chips. For desert my partner had the lemon sorbet with prosecco and mint very tasty and refreshing, whilst I had a kind of Berlin Eton Mess – yogurt, meringue, cream and berries, served in an interestingly shaped bowl! It may not have been cordon bleu, Michelin star fayre but was certainly decent enough. All in all we had a really pleasant evening. Good service, good food and good views!
One star for the view and that’s all! 50€ for two people JUST to have the right to access the restaurant. After that, I paid 65€ for dinner for two people, for the worst dinner I’ve had in my life. The service was terrible (impolite...personnel) and DISGUSTING food! My partner didn’t seem to complain much : I chose the meet burger and the beef was just plastic beef, it didn’t taste beef at all. How is it served? With crisps! With freaking crisps!!!! Could you believe that? Crisps!?!?!? Any 50€/person French restaurant that would dare serving you crisps for dinner would close one week after opening. What a disgrace!
