Oui Madame ! - Berlin

I went to this wine bar for the first time with some friends and we were very nicely welcomed. The owner was very friendly, brought us the card right away with some water. We had some very nice house wine and prices are very reasonable. The place is nicely decorated and it felt like being in a warm cozy evening in the south of France.Highly recommend it !

This wine bar is a little too dark on the inside, the candles do not light up the interior enough. The chairs are very small and not comfy (maybe you are not supposed to sit that long anyway), the hosts are french, glad I speak it, otherwise I do not know of they would have made the attempt to switch to German? The wine menu is on a wall - so you have to get up everytime you would want a fresh glass of wine. Which is possibly the only way to order - cause no one came by after the first serving and asked if everything was ok or if we wanted more. So after sitting on small and hard chairs with only one glass of red wine (which was fine though) we left and I guess I do not need to go back.

A really nice wine bar, good selection of wines and appetizers. However, the place is usually empty and the french ambiance only adds to this emptiness a somewhat sad, gloomy atmosphere.
