I had one of my Eastern European favorites, Stuffed Cabbage. It was delicious. I felt bad, I...couldn't finish it all, I was stuffed! If you are in this area, check it out.
My wife and I had a mini break from the UK to Berlin. Eating out for several days can get expensive,so we are always on the look out for great quality independent places where we can refuel without breaking the bank. We went to visit...the Jewish Museum, but it was closed due to a concert. Faced with a two mile walk back to the hotel we decided to eat first. We picked orient food at random (there is another place next door that looks OK too, but we didn’t try it). What to say? Well for less than 16 Euros we got two of the biggest freshest chicken kebabs, two monstrous bowls of chips, a litre of coke and a bottle of beer. The food was really fresh and nice. Being from the UK I know that kebab places are like Russian Roulette. For every good one you find there are 10 that serve terrible food. Well this place is the 1 in 10! So good in fact that the next day, after the museum, I went back in to thank the owner and ask if I could take some photos for this review. Enjoy!
Excellent kebab meat, beautifully marinated with lots of fresh salads. Kebab meat was mixed with roasted vegetables- really yummy. Excellent lunch right next to the Jewish Museum.
The place is next to the Jewish museum, convenient to grab a bite after (or before). Plenty of veggies, good taste and quite cheap.
