Mama Burrito & Sons - Berlin

I'd put this somewhere between and stars. Nothing wrong with the burrito but fairly uninspired from a flavor POV. It was spicier than your average german dish so that was good. Relatively cheap lunch too so for the price I was happy with...it.

Yummy burritos friendly staff let me sample their new tomatillo based salsa. Great place to refuel on the go and chat up about the sites with locals.

This street stand is excellent. It has mexican food for a good price that tasted pretty authentic (coming from a Californian, that means something). I had a burrito and it was delicious. They don't really have any tables to sit at though, so you have...to sit on a bench or stand and eat.

Nice burritos and great guy making them definitely recommended, also in a great area with bars live acts and a great bunch of people.

Perhaps I'm unqualified to make the above proclamation considering it was the only burrito I had in Berlin, but I'm a Mexican food snob from California and this burrito knocked my socks off! The burrito was big and filled with fresh, tasty fillings (I went...for the beef and added guac). The location is awesome, and Andre the owner is super cool and friendly! Definitely worth seeking out as it's in an awesome location former railway depot that has been taken over by artists and converted into a place for street art, galleries, alternative clubs, cafes, street food, etc. I'll be back in Berlin in a few weeks and will definitely be back for more burritos!
