Herr Rossi - Berlin

Well above average Italian cooking, made possible by a select daily menu. I had superb coconut and green pea soup which was delicious. Antipasti, both meat and veg versions, looked scrumptious and the main pasta courses were very tasty indeed, with lovely sauces. On Fridays there are also fish dishes available. We were there on a very busy night and the waiting staff had their work cut out. Great atmosphere.

Recommend by friend in Berlin. Take M2 tram 3 or 4 stops out from Alexanderplatz. Menu small - 4 starters, 3 pasta, 1 meat 1 fish, 2 deserts. All looked totally awesome, the ones we had tasted fantastic. A more extensive wine list, mostly German and owner recommended a great pino noir taste alike. Cosy atmosphere, booking only by phone. I'd go back on any visit to Berlin for sure.

Our 2 courses+espresso and 3 courses plus a bottle of red wine cost 93 euros so pretty cheap for a great dinner. Menu is short and varies by day, think again if you are really picky.

I can only recommend Herr Rossi. We got duck and Argentine beef steak as a main course. Capassio of calf for starters. Very delicious. Cozy place - and we were served by a smiling and friendly waiter.
