Balthazar Spreeufer 2 - Berlin

Really great. We had the diner without desert. Salmon tartare with mango, cold champaign soup with scallop and veal with sweetbreads. All done to perfection. No salt or pepper on the table because the chef brought it to taste. Ambiance feels posh and food...is to match but the bill was not too high. Definetly worth recommending.

I booked this restaurant on line, however, when I turned up they were fully booked. They made space for us in the reception area between the two restaurant rooms and immediately served us with a glass of complimentary pink fizz. We had starters and a...main course each which, along with the amuse bouche (divine) and selection of breads and dips meant that we nearly couldn't finish our meal. All the food was exceptionally presented and delicious and the assistance with the wine produced a bottle we would want to have again. Highly recommended along with exceptional service

Food was good though I asked for the wrong dish (too many peppers... and I don't like peppers) but my colleague's dish was great and the service was nice. And finally the dessert coconut-pineapple Karambole was delicious. The right dessert for summer... light and not...too sweet.

My husband and I booked Online for dinner. The food was very Good.we only had a main meal. We both ordered meat which was particularly good. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful. They gave us some bread with delicious spreads to begin. I would...highly recommend this restaurant!

Very impressed as we only had popped in for a quick snack. We had wiener schnitzel which was excellent. The wine list pretty pricey however the South African Shiraz was exceptional. The service from the young lady was superb and I would highly recommend that...she sets up a restaurant on her own.
