Aspendos - Berlin

Immersed on a very hot Berlin afternoon for some ice. The ice was ordered relatively quickly. But we've been thinking of going back, as the place was obviously among servants. It took until the ice was ordered. And when they served, they turned an ice into another. We didn't do anything about the extraordinary waiting period.

Beautiful location, but overall the food and staff are below average. They forgot bacon from the burger, and when we put the waiter on the thing she said, she's taking the bacon apart... This is not the way to deal with this situation. If you have to go to this place, order the steak because it was good at that time at least.

Stopped by there to grab some breakfast one day. The Berlin Breakfast gives you everything you need for a healthy start of your day. Fruits, vegetables and some bread with cheese and ham. The place was empty when we got there, but that did not...matter to us. Their bathroom area is a little spooky...

We or ordered a small coke and an amaretto. It took more than 10 min to arrive. We asked for the bill right away and got it just before leaving after more than 30 minutes. The toilets were behind a very narrow door, I had...to squeeze myself in

The food choices are excellent and they also have a good range of vegetarian for those inclined. The food was first class, only issue was it was big so be careful on entrees (we split one between us and still struggled), but tasted wonderful. Happy...hour for cocktails from 7 to midnight bonus. 4 of us plus drinks etc for under 80 euro in pleasant surroundings which were spotless plus you can watch the cooks thru a huge glass door. The toilets have a funny surprise, a good laugh but maybe politically incorrect but I took no offence. The staff are helpful and speak very good english. Highly recommend.
