Zacharys Chicago Pizza - Berkeley

As a New Jersey native, I consider myself a pizza connoisseur, but Zachary's 14" Large Thin Crust Pizza impressed me. While it may not be traditional east coast style, the pizza is well-crafted with high-quality ingredients. The sauce is perfectly balanced, not too sweet or runny, and they use generous amounts of high-quality mozzarella cheese. The dough is fantastic. Overall, I highly recommend trying this delicious pizza.

The prices at this restaurant are too high. There was not enough BBQ sauce, and the chicken, tomatoes, and pizza sauce were separate from the crust.

I usually get their deep dish, but tried the 14" Large Carne on thin crust tonight, and it was pretty fantastic. Great flavor and filling.

Big deep pizza! I love the spinach mushroom, but for those who eat chicken the deep dish chicken special with pesto inside is the jam! Wish they made a vegetarian or vegan version!
