Subway - Berkeley

Personally, I have been here twice now and would advise people to stay away from this location specifically. The food was ok, the guy making sandwiches was nice and quick but the concerning part was the drink machine. When I went to get some ice there were some black specks on it and at first I thought it was some dirt but no, it was indeed mold. I was certainly say that you should not be getting drinks from this location as they do not clean that machine at all but more importantly, it makes you think that if they cannot clean this machine enough to keep mold out of it, then it concerns me how well do the keep with the cleanliness of other things.

Things must changed, because the staff on property management at this Subway is above beyond the norm. The entire facility, restrooms and dining area was incredibly clean. The staff behind the counter was very polite, and they processed a large order quickly, while assisting other patrons. Excellent job!

We had a great experience here. The staff were very nice and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Why do they send coupons if they don't accept them?

Meatballs were very cold at 11:30 am. Man behind the counter said that he heated them up in microwave this morning. He took apart half my sandwich to heat up the Meatballs in the microwave again. Terrible, Terrible service.
