Monte Cristo - Berkeley

The food was decent, the taco salad was supposed to have chicken and had zero meat in it, disapointed in that. The carnitas in the tostada were dry and not great. overall for the high price I paid I dont think i will order again from here.

The mole poblano is so delicious--a wonderful balance of sweetness, pepper heat, and mole spices. I am also very fond of the prawn taco. And my husband says that the pollo asado burrito is the best he has ever tasted.

A very charming establishment. I stopped by to get a burrito, which was tasty and more than satisfied my hunger pangs. I got a glass of the homemade sangria to go with my meal. It was mellowly spiced and refreshing. I like this place.Food: 5/5

Gave me a to-go order with half the stuff missing, and when I went back they put the plantains *on top* of the wrong beans, along with giving me the wrong kind of papusas. Meanwhile, they're easily the worst papusas I've had, with almost nothing inside them and basically being a corn flour biscuit.All for the low low price of almost 17 dollars. Pass this place up.

If im ever in Berkeley, i have to stop here no matter what!!! So far, the chicken burrito is so delicious that i haven't tried anything else yet. >I've had the chicken burrito 5 times!Food: 5/5
