Coro Coffee Room - Berkeley

The chai had a rich flavor, but the texture wasn’t quite right. The empanadas had a delicious filling, but the dough was rather dry. Furthermore, the establishment should think about updating their register and ensuring their baristas are aware of local regulations, as cashless businesses are illegal in Berkeley—a rule that came into effect last year. It appears that the barista who stated, “It’s not, I looked it up,” may not be fully informed on this matter.

This café has rapidly become one of my favorite places for coffee in the East Bay. Unfortunately, I can't drop by as often as I'd like because they open at 8 AM, which is a bit too late for me. However, I always make it a point to visit when I have a later start, and I never regret it!

I must say, only Ten Belles in Paris comes close to CoRo, and CoRo has a broader selection of beans available for purchase. Yes, you might have to wait a few minutes in line, but great art requires some patience. Parking is easy to find here, which is a pleasant change from most of Berkeley, and it also feels safe.

Excellent lattes. Strong selection of beans. Impressive baked goods. Charming and helpful staff. Beautiful space ceramics. This is our favorite place to enjoy coffee in the area.

Loved this coffee shop, friendly baristas, cute cups and amazing coffee. You can view the processing unit inside and enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee by the large street side windows or outside too. Our order was delayed due to come confusion and they gave us a complementary cup of coffee with sincere apologies.
