Caffe Chiave - Berkeley

I had a fantastic experience! The mocha I had today was the best I've ever tasted, and the delicious breakfast was exactly what I needed!

Excellent coffee and pastries. The ambiance is perfect. I will definitely return!

I recently visited Caffe Chiave, and I was disappointed. The coffee was so hot that I couldn't touch the glass for a full 20 minutes. As for the chocolate croissant, it tasted stale, almost like chewing on rubber. Overall, it was a letdown. What a shame!

Large open and airy. caffe chiave is a great place to get a coffee and a morning bite. the owners/operators keep a nice place with lots of fresh air that I know is appreciated by those who want to bring home what they went for. trieste has gone to berkeley, but the place, the johnny left still has friendly smiles on the theke.
