The Golden Bear Café

GBC has really good cheeseburgers, but the customer service is terrible. Most of the employees here are unnecessarily rude to students, and I feel like it might be racially charged. I am berated unprovoked by the employees for one reason or another every time I go to gbc.

I asked for a breve latte and the person at the desk repeated back latte. I corrected her and said breve latte. She seemed confused so I specified that it was a latte with cream instead of milk. She said ok, and then they made a regular latte. I asked and she said they didn 't have cream. I said I wish they had told me before I ordered. They responded with well do you want it or not. I already spent 5 bucks on this latte so said I guess, but this isn 't what I wanted and she just handed me the coffee and continued working. I don 't like being that guy complaining to the barista, but I wish I could have been compensated in some way. The latte was also not worth 5 bucks and they didn 't add any espresso to the medium, just milk.

Has decent vegan options (breakfast burrito, beyond burger, meatless tenders). Takeout only and there's only outside seating. Dietary restrictions: Has vegan options

Incredible hash browns! As a British person I was extremely impressed with the hash browns here.The staff member that I spoken to was really helpful.Unfortunately not a lot of vegan options.

These workers were extremely rude. One of them yelled at my younger sister for no reason. It was a terrible experience, so I would not recommend coming here. I wish there was a way to complain about their behavior. This is completely unacceptable.
