Il Forno a Legna - Bergisch Gladbach

Having tried many Italian restaurants in the area, I believe that they serve the best pizza in the city from far away. the place is really tiny and usually very crowded. nothing for a romantic candlelight dinner, because people always squeeze in or out. it has its own kind of charm when they are ready to accept a few nudges while they eat.

Under the assumption that this entry in tripadvisor now refers to the pizzeria called il fornaccio in mülheimer str. 50, 51375 leverkusen, I can argue that the pizzas are excellent here. this facility is one of the smallest restaurants in which I have been for a long time. with a (small) handful of chairs and three or four tables this place is really very intimate in our case, we have ordered directly from our table to the young lady behind the counter. there is an excellent selection of thin paved pizzas that are literally baked before their eyes. what I was quite disturbing was the high noise both in the kitchen area and whenever new customers came from, many of which picked up. I found it difficult to focus on our lunchtime talks with a background of scattered and screaming of ciao bella when every new customer stepped over the threshold and that is a popular and busy place. for something more important, I would go elsewhere.

We were a couple of times to forno a legna and always extremely happy. the thin crust pizza is wonderful, with the specific taste given by the wood smoke. we would also recommend the tiramisu. as far as the service is concerned, pino will always address their request to see if they are satisfied with the food. combined, a pleasant pizza dinner (also many layers removed), with a great service.

Eine wirklich erstklassige Pizzeria direkt vor der Tür! Herrlich! Wir genießen gerne die immer leckeren Kombinationen der Pizzen - dünner Teig, perfekt belegt und knusprig bis zum letzten Biss.Für uns ist das enge Ambiente mit dem geschäftigen Treiben fast wie ein kleiner Urlaub. Jedenfalls authentisch und jeder Besuch endet mit der Vorfreude auf den nächsten!
